Becoming a Climate Hero

All you need to become a Climate Hero is a desire to help educate people in your community about energy electrification.

Home Electrification is one of the most important ways we all can help slow down the destructive effects of climate change.

Home Electrification includes heat pumps, electrical induction cooktops, electric appliances like clothes dryers, electric vehicles and home chargers, rooftop solar and home storage batteries.

Home Electrification also means taking advantage of financial incentives such as tax credits and rebates.

ElectrifyNOW gives you the knowledge and tools you need to be able to help your friends and neighbors learn about how they can electrify their homes and save money.

Tools for Home Electrification

ElectrifyNOW provides technical and financial information for Climate Heroes on the elements of home electrification. These include heat pumps, induction cooktops and stoves, electric water heaters and electric clothes dryers.

It also will be including information on various types of electric vehicles and chargers for garages or driveways in the home.

ElectrigyNOW also offers Climate Heroes access to Google Workspace which allows them to collaborate and share information with each other and participate in video meetings.
